Lentil Veggie Loaf Recipe For A Gerson Diet

Lentil Loaf Recipe For A Gerson Therapy DietIt’s natural to have a craving for all the holiday comfort foods you’ve enjoyed over the years, especially since many families have long-standing traditions based around certain dishes. However, it can lead some patients to fall into a negative attitude by focusing only on all the foods they can’t eat. With that in mind, Gerson Institute has created a short holiday-themed e-book which focuses more on what someone following the Gerson Therapy CAN eat. This recipe comes from that e-book.

Lentil Veggie Loaf

•¼ cup fresh parsley
•1 ½ cup eggplant, diced
•1 yellow onion, finely diced
•¾ cup beets, grated with food processor

•1 cup celery, finely diced
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•1 ½ cups cooked brown rice
•Pinch of thyme, chopped

My Coffee Enema Breaks – No Cream and No Sugar

Complementary Treatments Coffee EnemaDiana Ross, ERYT 500, Co-Founder of Breast Cancer Yoga.

Still moving right along with all my cancer protocols and this one treatment, coffee enemas is a key one. I started off doing 4 to 5 a day and then decided enough already and am down to a manageable 2 a day. Here in lies the key or operative word – manageable. If you are truly serious about transforming your health in a dramatic way, implementing coffee enemas into your regular routine is essential for achieving the life-changing results you need to drastically improve your health or in my case rid yourself of cancer. This goes for anyone. There are good reasons for incorporating coffee enemas, for example:

Coffee enemas reduce your system toxicity dramatically by 700%. Coffee enemas when prepared a specific way stimulate the production of glutathione S-transferase (GST) in the liver. It is spoken that GST is the “Master Detoxifier” in the body. This powerful enzyme binds with toxins throughout the body and flushes them out during the enema process.

Coffee enemas cleanse and heal the colon, digestive tract and manage peristalsis. These enemas cleanse and flush the digestive tract and colon without disrupting the beneficial intestinal tract flora. When you continue to routinely use coffee enemas your digestive tract will stay clean and free of debris and toxic buildup. Plus the peristalsis will move food through the digestive track and organs that connect to the bladder and kidneys.

Coffee Enemas increase energy, improves mental clarity and mood. Coffee enemas remove toxic sludge, help with decreased oxygen or clogged intestines which leaves someone fatigued and depleted. By direct absorption of caffeine and palmitates into the bloodstream, it stimulates and releases bile and the efficient removal of toxic waste. This can be so powerful that people remarkably feel an instant surge of energy, and a “feel good” mood.

Coffee enemas knock out parasites, and candida. When we expose ourselves to chemicals in the air, water, food and environment we expose ourselves to parasites and toxins. There is a build up unless we actually do detox programs or coffee enemas which help to irrigate and flush out these impurities. I would also recommend a full Parasite Detox program as well. We can infest our body again and again.

Coffee enemas help to detox and repair the liver. It isn’t uncommon to have bloating, stomach pain, gas and other problems associated with poor digestion. The liver has a big job and we overburden it with all that we ingest. This is especially true if you are doing any chemotherapy. You want your liver to be in tip top shape. Here is where coffee enemas help the livers function in unloading all the toxins. This gives the liver a chance to repair itself too.

Coffee enemas help to decrease pain. This is one of the biggest reasons my sister, Valarie (who recently died of liver cancer) used coffee enemas. It helped her manage her pain. It can offer powerful analgesic benefits.

Coffee enemas heal and prevent chronic illness. As we get older our body increasing needs to be nurtured more and more, otherwise illness can set in and become chronic. Coffee enemas are by far one of the most effective way to cleanse the body of debris. If you have cancer, a chronic illness, or any debilitating disease I would highly recommend using coffee enemas.

Dr. Gerson, the doctor I originally followed placed so much emphasis on doing coffee enemas as the key ingredient to cancer-curing. I personally love my “coffee breaks”. I get to stop, rest and welcome a healing.

In Two Short Weeks

Diana's Desk - Breast Cancer Authority BlogBy: Diana Ross, Co-Founder of Breast Cancer Yoga.

Last I shared on the blog I expressed an attitude of gratitude which now has to expand. Never did I think in the last two short weeks I would watch my big sister take her last breath, nor did I think I would be diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer but both happened. I don’t even know how to express all of this but I do know that I want to share everything on my journey to wellness. I will not let this cancer take my life. There is too much to do and to share. My sister, Valerie had a big obstacle to hurdle. She had Stage 4 Breast Cancer in her liver. She prevailed for over a year with changing her diet using the vegan Gerson Diet but ultimately the disease took her life.

I have a renewed attitude of gratitude in the sense that I have everyone on this blog who has gone through this experience and more sharing and caring. I am learning so much and so quickly. I feel it most important to share everything I learn with all of you. There are no cures necessarily but there are opportunities to expand awareness into how to heal yourself.

The first thing that keeps coming up is unconditional love. BIG! How does one love them self unconditionally? It is the key to wellness, and to happiness. Harboring resentments, remorse, guilt, shame and judgement is easy but it is unhealthy. It creates imbalance, dis-ease and then illness. In my heart I know where this all started so now I sit in a deeper seat of gratitude to figure this out so that I may be of bigger service. I want to love; really love myself, my family, my husband and my friends.

I want to thank everyone that has helped me learn that I am not alone and that miracles happen. Each week I will share what new approach to wellness I discovered. For example Louise Hay and her teachings of unconditional love and that words have power. Using certain essential oils specific for each organ of the body, PawPaw a herb of tremendous power, Vit C IVs, Ozone treatments, prayers for our food, music for our hearts and so on.

I hope this can be our moments of gratitude together.

Valerie's Profile Picture For Breast Cancer Authority Blog

My name is Valerie Kelly-Hodenius and Diana Ross is my sister.  Despite being diagnosed in June of 2013 with stage four breast cancer, I have been feeling great.  Because I have been doing so well, Diana asked me to share my story with you.

I was first diagnosed in 1997 with stage two breast cancer.  It was found by a routine mammogram.  At that time I did the usual medical treatments:  surgery twice, chemotherapy and radiation.  I also did acupuncture and took Chinese herbs.  To me the herbs looked like a concoction of tar paper, compost and old tampons.  And, frankly, that is what they tasted like to me.  I lived through it, but I felt like I lost two years of my life.  I went regularly for mammograms and all were clear including one in May of 2013.

In June of 2013 I sneezed and began experiencing the most excruciating pain.  I went to the doctor for an ultrasound of my gall bladder as we all thought I was having a gall bladder attack.  I was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer.  The tumors filled my liver to capacity and slopped over to my bones in a few areas.  You can imagine how the idea of chemo felt to me especially when my dear friend, a physician, started talking about a pic line.

I decided to interview for the right oncologist.  I have very specific requirements for my medical providers.  They need to be knowledgeable and up to date but just as important is that they can listen to my ideas and respect the idea that I know my own body.  I interviewed a few oncologists that my medical friends recommended.  I chose the oncologist at Dana Farber because she introduced herself by her first name, looked me square in the face while we were talking and made me feel like I was her only client.  She gives me test results as soon as they are available to her.  And she is available to me by email anytime I have needed.

My next decision was how I wanted to treat the cancer.  My doctor offered me an aromatase inhibitor since my cancer was estrogen and progesterone positive.  This seemed acceptable but I wanted to explore what else might be available.  I happened upon a documentary about Dr. Max Gerson.  His regimen seemed to me to be the perfect option.  The more I read about how what you put in your mouth affects you, the more convinced I became.  Well, let me tell you, this was quite a change from how I had been eating despite my diet had been superior to how the average person eats.
The day I got diagnosed I had a CT scan and blood work.  I had my LFT’s drawn and tumor markers.  They were all extremely abnormal.  When I saw my oncologist for follow up lab work two months later all levels had improved by about 30%!  I told her that I had chosen this vegan diet.  She said, very respectfully, that there wasn’t any medical evidence to support that it made any difference.  But I decided that it was the right route for me because I believed in it.  Two months later I had my blood work checked again and a repeat CT scan.  The labs went down another 30% and there was healthy liver tissue in a third of my liver.  My LFT’s were almost normal!

The other great benefit for me on the Gerson diet was that I quickly lost 50 of my unwanted pounds.  I feel great and have with the exception of that first week.  One of the lovely consequences for me is that I have been able to be completely dissociated from the stage four cancer.  I believe that whatever treatment or road you choose, the most important part is that you believe it is the thing that will work for you.
