Blue Iris Photo Meditation

Sit comfortable in your favorite place and take a couple of deep breaths.

Inhale all the energy of the Universe…

Exhale all the negative emotions you feel right now…

Keep on breathing at least for a minute paying attention to your breathing.

When you are ready, start paying attention to the details of the flower: colors, shape, light shadows, etc.

Look closely and get ready to be amazed.

Keep on breathing…

Breathe in energy from the flower and color purple,

Breathe out stress and anxiety.

Keep on breathing, exploring the image and being in the present moment.

When you feel more relaxed and calmer, take a couple of deep breathes, give yourself a hug and get back to your daily routine.

Did you know that a blue Iris flower symbolizes faith and hope? So let us be wise and always have faith and hope, shall we?

Coleslaw with Turmeric Dressing Recipe for Breast Health

coleslaw By: Irina Wardas

We need to detox our body on a regular basis if we want to prevent or beat breast cancer. For a simple and natural detox, we can try to incorporate as many detox foods as possible. One of the best cancer fighting foods is an old fashioned cabbage. Here is one of my favorite cabbage recipes, because it is easy to make and it is super healthy and delicious. It will help you detox the body, block, estrogen, flush the fat. Coleslaw with Turmeric Dressing Recipe *Cabbage is one of the healthiest foods because it is rich in vitamin C, fiber and indole-3-carbinol, a compound to help beat breast cancer by converting a cancer-promoting estrogen into a healthier type. *Turmeric, with the active component curcumin, is rich in antioxidants to prevent and beat cancer, boost immune system, reduce inflammation.

2 cups cabbage shredded

2 carrots chopped

1-2 cloves garlic

1 middle tomato chopped

2 tbsp parsley

Dressing Recipe:

2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp plain yogurt ½ tsp turmeric 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper ¼ tsp dry ground ginger season with Kelp and Cayenne Seasoning (from Health store or http://www.seaveg.com)

Mix all ingredients in the bowl. Make a dressing in a separate bowl and add to the Cole Slaw.

Bon Appetit!
