Plant An Indoor Garden
There are numerous reasons that somebody would choose to plant a full scale indoor garden. A desire to grow your own food year round is a good reason, or maybe you need a way to support your out-of-control plant collecting addiction. As even the happiest homes accumulate in time negative vibrations, it is good to smudge your home thoroughly at least several times a year. Crystals placed in and around your space will make for healthier, more productive environment. Crystals relate to the energies of the chakra or body part. General Tips To Reduce Your Chemical Exposure:
1: Refresh indoor air daily (a.k.a. open windows).
2: Use HEPA filters in vacuums and heaters/burners.
3: Choose natural untreated fibers whenever possible for clothing, bedding, upholstery, and curtains.
4: Minimize plastic use, including Teflon.
5: Learn to read ingredients for food, personal care products, and cleaning solutions.
6: Minimize the use of “fragrance” or perfumes found in personal care products, cleaners, laundry products, air fresheners, and candles.
7: Minimize exposure to “things that smell;” typically called VOCs — volatile organic compounds. This can include a range of items from paints, markers, glue, garden products, solvents, and certain plastics.
Everyone’s idea of a healing space is unique. There are no fixed rules for creating a healing space. Do whatever appeals to your senses and put those ideas in the space. When developing your area, begin with what you already have, and then improve on it by making it more healing. You don’t need an elaborate space to uplift your mind and soul. Even a simple, color will do.
