One ounce of broccoli sprouts contain as many cancer-busting phytochemicals as three pounds of mature broccoli (John Hopkins Scientists). They look and taste like alfalfa sprouts. Broccoli sprouts are a great addition to sandwiches, salads, juice, or as a garnish on foods such as hummus. Along with alfalfa, broccoli sprouts are one of our favorite sprouts because of how easy they are to grow and add to just about any meal. Below are a few recipes that include cancer fighting broccoli sprouts.

A cancer prevention diet is one that is high in fiber, low in fat (especially animal fat), and includes generous portions of fruits and vegetables. It also minimizes or excludes alcohol. The best diets are pure vegan diets.
