By: Dawn Bradford-Lange, Co-Founder of Breast Cancer Yoga.
After a long six-month battle with lung cancer, Diana Ross passed peacefully in her home with family by her side. Diana was a co-founder of Breast Cancer Yoga and well-known, accomplished yoga teacher who taught for more than 20 years. Bringing more than just knowledge, Diana reached an audience that embraced her spirituality. Having been to India, twice, she fully immersed herself in her teachings. In her last months, family and friends surrounded her with a vast amount of love. We will mourn her presence for a long time to come. Soak in the light she brought into our lives, and take with us her knowledge and spirituality.
I’m Still Here
Friend, please don’t mourn for me
I’m still here though you don’t see
I’m right by your side each night and day
And within your heart I long to stay
My body is gone but I’m always near
I’m everything you feel, see or hear
My spirit is free, but I’ll never depart
As long as you keep me alive in your heart
Breast Cancer Yoga Family Will Miss You

My heart aches for you, Dawn and the great hole that her the loss of her voice will leave. We will advocate louder, work longer, leave no stone unturned – until cancer is beaten. My love to you and all her dear ones.

Heartbreaking news. Sending deepest condolences. Diana’s teachings, words of wisdom and advice were a quiet and deep source of encouragement and inspiration during my treatment for breast cancer and now, 2-1/2 years out as a survivor. May her memory and the legacy of her beauty and light and teachings continue on to help others.

I was shocked to hear the news about Diana’s passing… We met here online more than a year ago. We would exchange personal mail periodically.
I had many friends and acquaintances make their bodily transitions to the spirit world in 2014, but Diana was there to cheer me up, though we never met and I promised that this Spring I would be in NYC and looked forward to meeting her.
She was a model for all cancer recovering and surviving patients, both men and women and her love of yoga and her blog and website will continue to be an inspiration to all whose lives she has touched.
Go well into the dark night Diana, and may your life and love for all beings be a beacon of light for those of us who remain, as a guide to the Great Spirit when our time finally arrives.
Om Bhur bhava swaha, that savitur varenyam, bhargo devasya dimahe,
Dyo yo nat prachyo deyat om shanti shanti shanti. Om….. Peace be with you Diana.
