- Boost your immunity (and why it’s important)
- What foods are best for healing
- Protect yourself from toxins
- Use the power of your mind to heal
- Balance your inner emotional world
- Connect to your Higher Self
- Subtle energies and how they can help you recover and maintain your health

You’ll be gently led to heal and strengthen yourself in body, mind, and spirit. Workbook-style sections allow you to “take a moment for yourself” to reflect and deepen the inquiry. This is a wonderful guide for every woman who has experienced a diagnosis of breast cancer or wants to prevent one, and for women who want to claim responsibility for their own health and wellbeing.
The Holistic Approach to Breast Cancer: Every Woman’s Guide to Health, Vitality, & Wellbeing will teach you to prevent a cancer diagnosis, recover your health and strength after a diagnosis, and become more centered, balanced, and inwardly content along the way.
There is a lot of great information on this site. I plan to teach yoga to women going through treatment for breast cancer ( I just finished my chemo Friday, Yay!). I would love to win this book.

This will be a wonderful book that I should have, since my journey to conquer the side effect of chemo and radiotherapy still something that I have to fight for, we need to help our body to heal through our mind. I always believe that our my has its own power and how to use our power is something that we have to master.

Triarti Saraswati, those are wise words meant for everyone undergoing treatment. You are right. We do need to help our body heal after the slash and burn of current cancer treatments. Fortunately, our body is absolutely amazing. When you give it a little love, it responds by healing. It sounds to me like you are mastering that power. Congratulations.

I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer to the bone this past March, after having completed treatment for Stage 3 BC at Thanksgiving. While I honor and respect my care team, it’s very clear that the medical community still does not fully understand the biology of many cancers, including breast cancer. While a cure is no longer possible for me, I know that there are many things I can do to both prolong my life and to enhance the quality of it…I believe this book would be of great help to me as I travel this part of my path.

Dearest Christine Garrott, thank you for sharing your story here with us. You are such an inspiration to all survivors. One of my best friends was also diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that spread to her bones. Doctors gave up on her but she found the Gerson Treatment and two years later is now cancer free. The doctors just scratch and shake their heads. I don’t push any specific treatments. But, don’t give up unless you want to. There are many answers to the cancer question. Holistic approaches can be a God-send when nothing else seems to work. Sometimes life is stranger than fiction, and that includes healing. Kathleen O’Keefe-Kanavos

Christine you are our winner. Yes, this is good. Please email me your address via my email dryogabear9@aol.com. Congratulations. I also want to mention my sister’s story on this blog. She was diagnosed Stage 4 with no treatment recommendations so she found an amazing protocol and her numbers have dropped significantly. Thank you. I have a friend who is a Stage 4 survivor and says if it comes back she won’t fight it – she may consider holistics.
