Alkaline Water – The Elixir of Life

Alkaline Water - Elixer of LifeBy Diana Ross, E-RYT 500 Registered Yoga Therapist, Founder of Breast Cancer Yoga

Alkaline water is the start and finish of a life cycle. It is the pillar of all life forms. We are completely dependent on water, as is the planet.  Did you know that water is responsible for our thought processes, feelings, and moods?  Water penetrates through all cell membranes in our body which allows our cell clusters to communicate. It also regulates the functioning of the metabolism, digestion, circulation and assimilation. What is even more amazing is that water is responsible for our consciousness ~ it is the carrier of all physical and mental or non-physical information.

Wow, so why don’t we drink water all the time?

Water has the ability to:

  1. Cleanse the body’s system
  2. Transport nutrients
  3. Remove waste

Then b  y all means we need to drink “The Elixir of Life.”  When we begin to understand the importance of water in our daily lives then we will embrace it with the worth it deserves. Our metabolic functions rely on water. We need it to flush out the kidneys and liver, the skin and lungs – extracting toxins.  Why am I so pumped up about water? Well if you are dealing with breast cancer and had to undergoing chemotherapy or radiation then water is key to recovery. The study on alkaline water and radiation was completed successfully and the results are more than noteworthy.

Now I want to discuss that all waters are not equal and there are different water sources that are better for you than others, for example alkaline water. It hydrates the cells. If we starve the cells of water they will die. Dehydration and poor health follows. Again I repeat – water is a vital force, upon which all life depends. It carries energy and information. The brain is after 90 percent water. Water helps in the flow of bodily fluids like blood and lymph when it moves through our systems. It helps to create energy. It is not the heart that is key to circulation but the forces or flow of our bodily fluids. Water is important to move the body’s fluids up and down so that the heart can remain regulated at a specific frequency pattern (our pulse).

Water is our most important food source. It replenishes and nourishes us. Now why alkaline and not tap water. Drinking water standards may vary from state to state and this testing is suppose to expose potentially harmful impurities or toxins. It has increasingly gotten harder to keep our waters safe from environmental pollutants, pesticides and fungicides so are laws adjust to reflect the additional toxins, and not in our favor.

Our Drinking Waters
There is no doubt that the best water for our health is living, natural, unaltered, mature spring water that is low in minerals. This water is high in life-energy: electromagnetic frequencies and vibration patterns. The same frequencies that resonate with our own body.  We have so many specialty waters to choose from that we can be most confused.

We have:

  • artesian
  • distilled
  • mineral,
  • purified
  • sparkling
  • spring

However, the truth is unnatural waters include sparkling or carbonated and most drinking water. What if you could have it all. The best water, and not have to deal with the recycling of plastics bottles or unethical companies that extract spring waters from small towns. There are some water systems that both clean out the toxins and impurities, and charge the water with negative ions. These are ionic alkaline water systems such as Living Water from Vollara.
