We have all heard the saying ,”You are what you eat .” I like to take this a step further. You are what you assimilate and what you don’t eliminate. Makes you think.

With so many diets out there how do you decided what is best for your body? Eating a healthy diet is a form of art and we are all works of art in progress. We are all individual so finding a diet that makes you feel incredible is a journey.

On my journey I discovered the book, Eating for Beauty by David Wolfe. This book changed my perspective on the foods I choose to nourish my body, mind and soul. The Beauty Diet recommends raw nourishment. The leafy greens will alkalize your body and provide the fiber necessary to keep your system flowing. High quality plant based fats improve the elasticity of our tissues and plants high in minerals will improve your bone density and strengthen your hair and teeth.

To illustrate the energetic’s of the food you eat the first lesson has kirlian photos of raw organic vegetables and fruits. Kirlian is a technique for recording photographic images that show the auras of living creatures. A picture is worth a thousand words. They also show how the energy dissipates if the food is cooked. Once you see how vibrant the electromagnetic field is around the foods you are consuming you will also feel vibrant after eating them. This is a delicious approach to raising your vibration.

A raw plant based diet is nutrient dense and beautifying.  David Wolfe says that one should not feel pressured and rushed to adopt an all raw foods diet. He suggests that you increase your raw food intake and as you become more radiant you will naturally shift away from unhealthy or cooked foods as they will become less desirable. Even a half raw diet will have a positive effect  on both your health and appearance.

The information in this book is invaluable. It is well written and easy to understand. If you want to feel super and radiate beauty, eat super foods. It’s that simple. Fill your body with nutrient dense foods and your cravings for the unhealthy foods will disappear.

May you dance through life and may you move with grace.

Namaste ~
